I think Helen that the mire is surplus to requirements now. Facebook is the new mire. I had a peek and it's jolly busy at the mo . Personally speaking I think we should remove anything from the kitchen that's likely to attract rats  , close the shutters, put out a note for the milkman and get ourselves away.....  I will get the motorbike and side car cranked up....   ::)

.... you made me jump ! I thought the place was empty  :o. ... but look how busy it is over there on facebook *points..... they have many people with comments and many little videoettes on which to comment..  we have ... erm...  *looks around frantically....  we have nobbut a few bow hairs from about 10 years ago and the faded statue in the courtyard , mishappen by years of buffing.
* sighs and wanders off to stare out of the window ......    ::)

Well I still prefer the Mire even though it's not as technologically advanced as Facebook, we are a merry band of Sethettes,we're a bit like Brosettes but with less make-up, big hair and 80's clothes!!!

Ahhhh, the former Mistress of the Mire has formally retired...I don't feel comfortable assuming \Mistress Babs mantle..but I shall still be here, shuffling about, sweeping, rocking, humming and occasionally popping off to a gig that isn't Seths'...........oh, and I shall still clean the gutters....amazing how leafy they get especially this time of year, I could probably say pretty much whatever I want here now, it's ever so big and empty, I feel like one of those Disney heroines who fine an old empty house/castle filled with magical treasures....I'll be back.....xx

The gap between gigs we can get to! We reassure each other that it will be ok and that we will get to another gig soon....it's all very silly and tongue in cheek.
